Forever
Faithful is a tremendous asset to our community. The
resource that it provides kids and their families through
the ministry is rich with opportunities for positive
growth. Helping with, and learning about, the horses
makes huge deposits of self-confidence and courage into
lives. Children and Parents learning together create
opportunities for families to experience each other
in a positive atmosphere and can rebuild family unity.

It was
a great pleasure that I write this on behalf of Teri
Matter and Forever Faithful. I have known Teri, and
been familiar with her equine background and pursuits
for about a year. She has spoken to our Montgomery County
4-H Horsemanship Club, inspiring many of our members
to volunteer and contribute to their equine community
and help others less fortunate. She also hosted us at
Forever Faithful, for a wonderful, peace-filled trail
ride. Mrs. Teri is a very sincere and effective advocate
for her faith and her calling. She is kind to all she
meets, a very knowledgeable horsewoman, and shares a
beautiful facility “Forever Faithful”.

Our
family was so blessed by the time we had at Forever
Faithful. As you know, we are missionaries serving
in Ethiopia. Our kids (12, 9 and 6) have
always wanted to learn to ride horses - actually they'd
like to have their own horse, but that is not possible.
The time they spent coming out there nearly every week
and sometimes more than once a week, taught them more
than just about riding horses. They learned
how to care for the horses and how to treat them.
It made an impression on them how Forever Faithful had
rescued the horses and how Mrs. Teri took time to do
things right so that the horses' health and spirits
were considered. They have a new appreciation
for all the thought and work that goes into caring for
a horse and why it is important.
The combination of rescuing horses and training the
kids to care for and learn to ride the horses makes
for a meaningful ministry. It meant a lot to us,
and we hope when we return to Texas the kids can continue
with their training.

Forever
Faithful has touched the Houle family in many ways.
My daughter, Hannah is fulfilling her dream of learning
to care and ride horses. What a blessing for Hannah
to meet other boys and girls that love animals and Jesus
as much as she does. There are strong friendships
growing and so much love between Mrs.Teri and the children
there. You can feel it when you open the front
gate to the property. There is nothing in the world
that Hannah would rather do on Saturdays, than spend
time fellowshipping with Mrs.Teri and her new found
horse loving friends. Forever Faithful is not only a
blessing to my daughter, but a huge blessing to our
whole family. Teri is not only Hannah's trainer, but
someone very dear to our whole family. Thank You
Mrs. Teri for loving my daughter, loving the Lord, and
going above and beyond the call of duty. Your
love for the children and all the animals shines through
in everything you do.

Katelyn
has thoroughly enjoyed being at Forever Faithful. She
has learned about taking care of horses and she has
gained confidence in herself because of being able to
control such an amazing animal. Mrs. Teri and the beautiful
facility have taught her to have a respect for God’s
Creatures and nature around us.
I thought we were taking her to Forever Faithful for
riding lessons but, we have gained so much more. Mrs.
Teri has a beautiful, gentle heart along with all the
animals and I am so happy Katelyn has had the opportunity
to get to know Forever Faithful and the experience a
little bit of paradise in a very busy world.

Forever Faithful has been wonderful to Elijah.

Caroline

It is
a joy to share with you how Forever Faithful has impacted
the life of our daughter Paris and our entire family.
When we moved to Texas in July 2005, our family was
reeling from several years of loss and heartache. We
were still grieving the loss of our 18 month old
daughter, I had been ill, and our older daughter was
away from home at boarding school. Paris was 12 at the
time and moving away from her family and lifelong friends.
The one light for Paris in this transition was Mrs.
Teri and Forever Faithful. The Lord connected me with
Teri by phone before we left Minnesota, and within a
week of moving we met in person. Paris and I felt completely
at home and at peace on our first visit. Teri welcomed
us with open arms and Paris' healing began. The hour
drive was a small sacrifice compared to the blessings
we received by being there.
In the last two years Mrs. Teri and her ministry have
remained a rock for Paris in the midst of adolescent
turmoil. Mrs. Teri has instilled her love for horses
into me as well as Paris. At 43 she inspired me to begin
riding, and I now have a bond with Paris that I couldn't
have imagined before Forever Faithful. Teri continues
to minister to Paris with love, acceptance, and accountability,
and Paris counts Mrs. Teri as one of her favorite people
in her life.
Paris' life has been changed by Forever Faithful. Forever
Faithful is changing eternity, and anyone who shares
in that mission will be blessed indeed.

Forever
Faithful is just that....Forever Faithful to us and
we to them.
Mrs. Teri and her passion for horses shines through
as well as her love for the LORD.
She is patient with the children as she teaches basic
horseback riding and techniques as well as the proper
care of the animal. Forever faithful has grown
my daughter Bentley to love the animal even more and
to grow a relationship with the animal that has even
been therapeutic for her. She has gained confidence
in her riding the horse as well as personally in herself.
We as a result have referred many people to Forever
Faithful. I believe there is a genuine care and compassion
for the children and the ultimate goal is to grow them
individually in both mental and spiritual ways.
Teri has been a true blessing in our daughters life
and as well as in our family's life.
I will
continue to recommend her and Forever Faithful to those
I know and talk with who are interested in horseback
riding and share the love and compassion of horses.
